Stop Hanging Out with Idiots
Life hack you can't ignore. And mindset shift required to process a "no".
Growth Mindset Ideas
No does not mean you can't do it.
When someone tells you “no” it does not mean you can't do it. It means you can't do it with them. Onboarding people onto your vision needs effort and convincing. Also sharing same goal and finding right fit people to join you on your journey is rare. Hence it is important to not take each 'no' as a lack of your ability.
Mindset shift required to process a 'No'
Its not about you. It is not a reflection of you abilities. Sometimes situations, priorities, and timing is not aligned with your goals.
There isn't ONE path. Look for alternatives, there are more than one ways to achieve your goal. Explore your options.
Lean in and learn. Think what you could have done differently. Change your approach, practice, and improve your next shot taking it closer to success.
If someone tells you "no," it means that they are not the right fit for your goal or vision now. And it's ok. This can be a valuable opportunity to re-evaluate your approach and explore other options or opportunities. It's important to maintain a growth mindset and not let a rejection hold you back. Don't let no stop you from pursuing your dreams and goals. March forward to explore new ways of achieving them. You've got this!
Life lessons that you can’t afford to ignore
Stop hanging out with Idiots.
I am a nerd, have always been a nerd. All through out my school, college I liked books, liked to study, and I liked exams. cringe. I know. I studied in all girls high-school. Yes, it was brutal, but I survived. One day few of my friends decided that I shouldn't hang out with them because it makes them look 'uncool'. It hurt at first. But it was damn cool to not have constant negativity, and dumbness around. While I was leading games club, playing badminton games at state level, and writing school newspaper, so-called cool gang was flunking high school. Life lesson I learned early on to choose company around me intentionally and stay away from idiots stayed with me.
We all know when we are surrounded by idiots. They are disrespectful, closed minded, lack empathy, and have no self awareness. Obviously all decisions around them are self-centered and lack thinking.
Thinking and decision making are critical life skills needed for success & growth. It is simple. You strive to be better with a good company by making good decisions, and bring yourself down with bad decisions, with a bad company.
Chose your social circle to be kind, open minded, and smart. Your world would be more uplifting. #LifeHack
