Life Path
In the past three months, I have completed projects that should have taken more than six months to complete. I am tired, but I am also happy.
I build software products in a day, teach advanced databases in the evening, write a weekly newsletter, and coach during weekends. Feels like living many lives in one. I am blessed.
It challenges me to think different, be different, and I like it. Its not always comfortable and that makes me write about it here.
I so wish my life path looks more like a left side box.
What I also realize when things look routine, I get uncomfortable. Stretching those comfort zone boundaries call upon me. And whenever this feeling of overwhelming takes over I 'd like to remind myself of few things,
Everybody is figuring out as they go. I have to think about ONE next step and take it. Thinking about all the steps without any action builds feeling of overwhelming.
Self-awareness. Going out of comfort zone is being myself. It gives me opportunity to learn and grow.
Certainty is a fantasy. Don't chase it.
Situations don't make me, my decisions do.
Everything becomes better the next day. Sleep it off ;)
Everybody feels lost, overwhelmed at some point in their life. I hope this writeup helps you remind that its not as bad as we think.
The discomfort you are feeling when you choose to go outside comfort zone has inherent potential for profound transformation.
Feeling lost is inevitable. Feeling lost is a sign of growth. Choose it to carve your own path of growth. #GrowthMindset
