Life as Two Seasons - Rich Tales by Aarati
Powerful Idea
Life is a Season of Doing And Being
Appropriate to the laws of nature which has seasons to balance everything on the planet. When we start seeing our lives as seasons of doing things that we should be doing, and being as is, there is a harmony. (Tweet)
Doing - Season of Creation
Do stuff that takes you closer to things you want, things you want to experience, create and build. Learn, consume knowledge. Act, break stuff and without deterring keep going.
Being - Season of Reflection
Reflect without actions. Experience the joy of being. Experiencing calm and gratitude inside and around you.
Unlike other seasons these seasons are months, weeks, days or sometimes many in a single day ;)
My Learnings
Infallible Prioritizing Strategy
Key differentiator to work on High Impact Goals come down to prioritizing. And Prioritizing comes down to whether you choose to react or respond?
Reacting means you are attending to the loudest thing in front of you. Without thinking much, noisiest thing in your mind is pushing you to take action.
Responding means you taking a mindful pause before taking any action. Pause does not mean 'doing nothing'. Response can be,
-Do it now
-Do it Later
-Delegate to someone else/automate
-Never do it
Create space to figure out your high impact priorities. Respond, Don't React.
